Martha K. Bissell

Martha Bissell is a Certified Legal Assistant, having attained her certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2005. Martha has been employed by the Law Office of Carl W. Potvin since October, 1997. She graduated from McIntosh College in 1996, with an Associate Degree in Business, specializing in Paralegal Studies. Martha was honored as class Salutatorian. Prior to earning her degree, Martha was employed in the banking industry, working as a teller, customer service representative and head teller for banks in the Seacoast area. She also worked as an intern for the Probate Court of Strafford County.
Martha provides direct assistance to Attorney Potvin in matters of Probate and Estate Planning. She also assists in other areas of the practice, as needed. She prepares accountings, inventories, and other court filings for the firm's probate practice. She works directly with Attorney Potvin, executors and administrators, and other professionals throughout the estate administration process. Martha is an active member of the National Association of Legal Assistants. She has also been a guest speaker for McIntosh College on many occasions.
Martha has lived in New Hampshire all her life. She enjoys spending time boating, camping and snowmobiling with her husband, two children and grandson.
Barbara Gilbert

Barbara Gilbert has been working for the Law Office of Carl W. Potvin since 2005. She is a native of Rochester, New Hampshire, and a graduate of Spaulding High School. She received her Associate Degree in Business specializing in Accounting from McIntosh College in 1993, and has been working in the accounting field since 1990.
Barbara provides direct assistance to Attorney Potvin in matters of Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, Family Law, Litigation, Office Administration and Bookkeeping. She is dedicated to the firm's clients; dependable; well organized and pleasant. She continues to live in Rochester, New Hampshire with her husband and four children.
