Martha K. Bissell

Martha Bissell is a Certified Legal Assistant, having attained her certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2005.   She is one of only 83 Certified Legal Assistants in New Hampshire.  Martha has been employed by the Law Office of Carl W. Potvin since October, 1997.  She graduated from McIntosh College, in 1996, with an Associate Degree in Business, specializing in Paralegal Studies.  Martha was honored as class Salutatorian.  Prior to earning her degree, Martha was employed in the banking industry, working as a teller, customer service representative, and head teller for banks in the Seacoast area. 

Martha provides direct assistance to Attorney Potvin in matters of Probate, Estate Planning, and Real Estate.   She prepares accountings, inventories, and other court filings for the firm’s probate practice.  She works directly with executors and administrators, Attorney Potvin, and other professionals throughout the estate administration process.  Martha also is responsible for coordinating real estate closings, preparing all related documents, and performing the closing.    

Martha takes pride in her work.  Her attention to detail and organizational skills are an asset to the firm and clients alike.

Kristen L. Belles

Kristen Belles is a Certified Legal Assistant, having attained her certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2005.  She is one of only 83 Certified Legal Assistants in New Hampshire.  Kristen has been employed by the Law Office of Carl W. Potvin since April, 2003, when she graduated from McIntosh College.  During her final term at McIntosh, Kristen interned for the Law Office of Carl W. Potvin.  She earned her Associates Degree in Business Science, specializing in Paralegal Studies.  Kristen has prior work experience in the retail industry as a customer service representative, and visual merchandising associate.

Kristen provides direct support to Attorney Potvin in matters of, Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, Family Law, Estate Planning and Landlord Tenant.   Additionally, she provides litigation support, conducts case investigation, prepares exhibits for presentation at trial, and drafts court pleadings and correspondence.  Kristen  prides herself on her work ethic.  She is dependable, organized and dedicated to her work and to the firm’s clients.
